Where Folarius Comes From

Folarius grew out of years of experience across nursing, infection prevention and control, public health, and healthcare education.

Across those roles and settings, one problem kept surfacing: infection prevention is essential to protecting residents, patients, staff, and visitors, yet education does not always translate into consistent everyday practice.

Information maybe presented, but the reasons behind the practices are not always fully understood. When education does not connect with the realities of care, it becomes harder to remember, apply, and sustain.

Our approach is shaped by both. With a background spanning nursing, public health, adult education, and infection prevention and control and credentials including MPH, MS, BSN, RN, and CIC, we understand the evidence. But we also understand the realities of practice: competing priorities, limited time, staffing challenges, and the complex needs of the people receiving care.
